Unit photo Mod

Post by Razz1 »

Color photos for all ships Air and Land units.

Each ship submarine, etc is represented if real photo is available.

Each land unit has different photo dependent upon size and type and level.

Example: Brigade photo different than Corps photo. Then again another photo for the next level.

Each size unit has different photo for easy recognition.

Each country is unique.

Very few photos are duplicates..

you want to see the French?
The Russians?

The Turks?

even the Greeks are represented.

Thanks Razz.
(always looked odd seeing a Spitfire instead of a Messerschmitt).

What am I doing wrong? I just wanted to install the photos, but the installer asked me to install several other programs I do not want. Now I have Windows Live Messenger and who knows what else installed although I unchecked all boxes. How to get rid of these and just get the photos?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks very much, nice work. The download site is a little confusing as you have up to 3 download offers, depending on the ads which are running. Looks like you need the lower box click here to start your download from sendspace[:)]

Razz - thanks for this, looks great, downloading now.

One quick question however, should spotted but unidentified units (i.e those which are represented on the map by a counter / sprite with no Strength or AP) be showing, either in counter / sprite graphics or in unit information panel / picture the Level of the unit. My thought is that it should just display Unit Type (e.g. Infantry), Unit Size (e.g. Corps) and Nationality but nothing else.

Maybe Adolf Galland got his wish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjz8pAGRvsg [:)]

On a more helpful note - unzip the Unit Images folder from the download then copy it into Time of Fury / data / gfx allowing copy and replace for all conflicts - you should probably make a copy of the original Unit Images folder in gfx before you do in case you want to go back to the stock images. It should then work.
