Multiplayer game said I resigned and I didnt!

I was playing a multiplayer game against tarankiko and turn 6 the game let me have my turn and then said I had been defeated. It lists the game as Defeat(You resigned). Started game on Sat 25 Aug 2012 10:30AM last turn played on Mon 3 Sep 2012 2:24PM. Game was D.A.G. Christian Nubian(later) vs Late Republican Roman(my army). Its dissapointing the game ended this way as I was winning by a large margin. Can anyone explain this??? I definitely did not resign.

Sorry you are having problems - this is not something we've ever seen reported, though anything is possible, but in the tens of thousands of games played I don't remember it being reported. Is it possible you accidentally clicked the resign button?

I have never seen it before and I have played quite a lot of games. It waited until I had played my turn and then came up defeat which surprised me! I am not sure if it is a bug or not but I am pretty sure it was nothing I hit.
