Gdynia/Danzig occupation

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

Gdynia/Danzig occupation

Post by Erik2 »

I started a campaign on the default difficulty level.

First I get a message about the British sending and expedition army to Gdynia.
Then the (default) message about brigade Eberhard taking Danzig without a struggle.
That sounds wrong if Danzig is anywhere near Gdynia.

They are very, very close to each other. (20 km) Still the land connection between them can be easily cut off. The Germans were already in Gdansk before the war started... so this is strange but plausible.
