Not selling due to usual suspects

Post by wodin »

Due too a couple of the usual suspects that can't keep their nose out or like to cause trouble including creating an account to wag a finger I'm not selling it here but I will sell elsewhere.

Thing is it isn't me their hurting..but my 11 year old girl..as it's just me and her we do struggle..they've no idea..and it makes this all the more sickening to me.

The rest of the thread is a good read though;)..very amusing..

Great game, but I have a copy already.  Good luck on ebay....you can go into boardgame geek and see what the going price is.

Not a bad game. Played it about a year ago as the Brits and had a wicked pitched battle for Caen. Took Bayeux on a lucky dash since the German player made a minor mistake. Tough fight in the Bocage resulting in a minor Allied victory. Wish I had an extra 75 quid for it.

Hey Woody,
Why don’t you offer it up for shipping costs to a member that’s having a hard time making ends meet………?

Well I've had it for two years now..never played it and I need the money thats why. Not sure why someone would go to the trouble to find a post of mine and then a new member come in to wag a finger..oh I know it's you lot.

So no I wont be offering it for shipping costs. The game is mine, I've had it for two years..I can sell if I want to. it's not like I just got it. I still have three games from GMT which I'm going to keep thankyou. It's due to hardship I'm having to sell and need the money..but you know that anyway, your just trying to make me look bad.I wouldn't be selling if I didn't need the money..oh and it isn't for me, I have to feed\clothe my 11 year old daughter aswell as heat the house etc. It shows how little I actually own aswell..if I had any thing else of value I'd have tried to sell that but I don't, so something I don't want to sell but I know I might get abit of money for which will help me out after Xmas was this game, I'm sure if someone enjoys it and willing to pay plus it helps me and my daughter I don't see the problem..infact GMT's hardship deal would have helped me twice!

So know one that sells on EBay is selling things they may have been given? I think so, so using your great deduction and linking skills you should try and catch anyone out on Ebay!!

So please keep your nose out. Stalkers, I don't know you just can't shake em off.

I'm going to sell elsewhere. I should have realised someone here would have something to say or one of the "group" create a new account to wag a finger.

I'm pretty mad about this to be honest..as they are not hurting me as I said but affecting my daughter, as nearly all my money goes on her to make sure she has the essentials. For someone to create a sock puppet account to wag a finger and make a big issue of it (obviously a member here under a different name) and also a long time member to cause trouble or get in the way of me looking after my kid is bound to wind me up. Yet I'm sure the only one to come out of this looking bad yet again is me...yawn.

I played the Brits while a friend played the US. I had to leave about 2/3 through so the US player took over. He played until the German player threw in the towel close to the end. The German player wasnt a bad player but he was a young dude who didnt know as much about WWII, the deployment & dirty tricks like we did. (The US player was about my age & had studied WWII almost as long).

If I did not own the game already I would buy it from you wodin. I am disgusted at the behavior of those cretins who are attacking you. Good luck.

I'm trying to understand this, one person comes on and says "oh dear", and that gets you all bent out of shape? Wodin you seem like a decent guy and I apreciate your posts and contributions, but everytime you do something like this you feed into them. They are posting for your reaction and you never fail to "jump" at their command. Learn to ignore them or or let it slide. Be cool![8D]
