Couple questions , Non Player Units and Leaders

Achtung Panzer:Operation Star is an Eastern Front wargame with solid graphics and sprawling battlefields that really emphasize the scope of WWII tank combat. The gameplay is a remarkably realistic turn-based and real-time operational/tactical hybrid wargame that continues the series begun by the acclaimed Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943.

Couple questions , Non Player Units and Leaders

Post by gunny »

Ok I'm playing the hooper camp and noticed Non Player yellow units. Is there any way to bring this under my command? I control 1 measly platoon in this particular battle.

and.... A unit without a commander keeps showing up, a platoon I think, how do I assign a new commander?

thanks

don't know about assigning a new commander, don't believe you can. The controlling allied troop thing is here.

Thanks again....

One more question please... Gasoline, had units show in the red for fuel. If I can get this one solved that's about my only remaining question.

I dont have the modern DLC's , but usually there is support supply units on map edge. At times they are frozen until a set turn. When there free they have to be next to the units needing supply, either moving them to the unit or the other way around.I believe resupply is automatic, within limits.

The game has a high learning curve but it's worth it and there are some great gaming moments to be had. There are alot of threads here with alot of the same questions you will have like we all did at the beginning and still do with each update because frankly the documentation and explainations have sucked[:D] Click the box at the top of the thread to show all topics instead of 365 days and read some threads, i guarantee you will pick up some useful info.

Enjoy

I haven't played the campaigns in awhile and I don't think you can assign a new commander unless there is one in reserve.I think you can disband the the platoons without leaders and they go into reserve and you can reassign them later to units with leaders.

Don't quote me on this!
