The game was on my J drive but I copied it - after making some room - to the C drive. Tried re-downloading it. Tried opening it up inside the game folder. Always get the above message.

It looks like you are trying to execute the updated Command.exe directly from within its zip package.

You should copy everything (incl. the Command.exe) to the main installation directory, answering "yes" to any overwrite questions, and then run the Command.exe file from the installation directory.

Thanks!

Excuse my ignorance what is the main installation directory. I have the update inside the Command main folder. When i click on the exe the error message is what i get.

Okay, let's do this step by step.

1) Copy the zip file into the main Command folder.

2) Right-click on the zip file. Different compression programs have a slightly different prose here, but you should find the "Extract here" option. Select it.

3) You will probably get confirmation dialog(s) about file overwrites. Answer "yes" to all.

Then run Command.exe .

Hi Sunburn. Many thanks. Extract successful. Ignore the above message. Once I kicked my brain into second gear I figured it out. Thanks again.

This forum seems to be leaving out some words here and there which makes the messages a little hard to understand sometimes.
