Right Click to do a Wiki search

Post by pandoraefretum »

Can anyone help me right click on a highlighted text to automate a wiki search (I use chrome & Win 7)?
For example I would like to highlight Slava Class in Scenario Briefing (or database) and right click Search Wiki from a pull down menu. I think everyone would like such a feature.... there must be something / someone out there with the know how ! Thx!

Linking out could be full of technical challenges. I think the optimal solution would be to simply enable copy-pasta from the DB viewer

It can be done in the briefing. You can make a hyperlink the Briefing text.
Of course the scenario designer must directly input the specific link in the briefing for this to work.
Play my scenario Operation Guardian from Community Pack 1 to see the end result.

I will try your scenario on Sunday. Still learning so it will take me awhile.

Having wiki links in the DB in game has been discussed and i doubt we would ever see it implemented due to copyright restrictions.

I agree about enabling copy & paste then.
