Zoom Levels

Sovereignty: Crown of Kings is a turn-based fantasy strategy game for the PC. It offers a intuitive yet deep province system, allowing you to raise armies, conduct diplomacy, scout enemy battle lines, rally heroes to your banner, send them on quests, cast spells and go to war. In Sovereignty, the player chooses one of 35 Realms in a bid for dominance of the map. Play is conducted in a series of turns as a single player game. Each Realm has a unique culture and history, which translates directly into different play-styles. Each realm has its own mix of unit types and spell trees. Their diplomatic relations, economies and histories vary. A player may choose a new realm and experience the game in a very different way. Fantasy heroes, troops, races and spells complement the rise to power.

Zoom Levels

Post by Ajantaka »

Dear Developers,

Please be sure to include at least 3, and preferably more, zoom levels. A strategic level game particularly is awkward if there is only a very large scale map and one covering a relatively small area. You would think multiple zoom levels would be automatic in games but I was stunned when I bought Crown of Glory and found there were only two levels. They added another level to the sequel but it is hard to understand why they did not do that at first.

Also, looking at your purchase screenshots. The map is nice in its texture but it needs more color. And could you please make the icons representing the armies somewhat larger? I agree with the game who suggested that different shaped icons for each PE (Political Entity; nation/tribe/queendom/federation/clan ect.)? I know this is endless kibbitzing from players who want every detail of the game just so. But if the devil is in the details, so are the angels.

Thanks
