HQ Stacking

I know WITW gets rid of airbases. Is there any hope whatsoever that we will get a more robust stacking solution for HQ units. I think the HQ concept is more or less OK (except for displacement under many circumstances). Stacking remains a problem in congested areas especially in adverse weather.

The stacking does need a little adjusting. Over the years from the AH/SPI era to now, hex stacking had converged on a 3.5 unit stack, i.e. a lot systems were tried with the most being 3 regular plus 1 free one.
With free defined as some type of support ( in the rear unit), air fields, HQ's,size limit, suppy dumps, AAA, Partisans, etc.)
I too hope some small change can be done without breaking the system.

I doubt WitE will change but this has already been announced as part of WitW:
