Commanders bug

In an ongoing PBEM game (Barbarossa turn 59 allies, bug started several turns ago), I have a TOF stopped working Windows is searching for a solution error message appearing everytime I try to look at a commander in a unit, add a commander to a land/ship/air unit for each of the three countries I control, or check commanders in the info box. I really don't care anymore as this game has been so buggy as to be amazing, and when this PBEM game is done, I am done with the game. I have liked and even thought the game was very fixable. Not so sure anymore. I am posting because of how irritating/aggravating it is to play this far into a PBEM game (a second time, by the way, as the first time we had some sort of server messup) and have an unusual (I think?!) bug/problem spoil the game (at least for me), not to mention put me at a disadvantage in game terms as a good commander adds strength to a unit. I am not sure anyone pays any attention to this particular game forum, at least as far as a moderator goes. A shame really.
