Assertion failure

Assertion failure

Trying to get around this assertion failure error when running the game on win7 64-bit.
For now I have it installed inside vmware player,with win xp, and the problem seems solved.

Anyone here have any luck on win7 or a fix to the problem?

Can't offer any suggestions to help, I'm afraid. I recently played the game quite a bit with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit without any real problems.
