research and production???

research and production???

I researched a tech, then found that the tech was somehow on my production screen as if I now had to produce it, too. What is up with that? naturally, there is no manual OR I WOULD LOOK IT UP ON MY OWN.

The tech likely unlocked an Operation. Operations are basically consumable actions. They come in two types: a Building that produces 1 per building on a cooldown and 2) directly building multiples of the consumable directly. When you first get access to an Operation, the game does provide a tip explaining this. It should be listed in the compendium if you missed it.
