Phooey on accuracy

Well I commented on it, and it appears there are still people out there that can never be pleased.

War movies, unless you have several audience members gunned down blown up flamed and generally bombed artillery striked and maimed for life, "the film wasn't totally accurate" is all they are going to offer.

Horror movies, unless you lose several nights sleep, have trouble eating, and discover several audience members have gone missing, while several have been gruesomely slain, "the film just wasn't scary enough" will be their opinon.

Erotic films hmmm tricky summing this up, but I guess a good porno requires you get some during the film. As well as several audience members showing you by virtue of demonstration, that you haven't though of all the ways to do it yet. Otherwise, "nah it wasn't really good" will be elicited from them. Some people can complain about anything.

Sure some films will be just plain lousy. I will sure not be able understand why a person could watch Kiss of the Spider Woman twice.
But I swear, some people are incapable of watching aaaaaanything without picking it apart.

I wonder how those people got that picky in the first place.
I LIKE that my life bothers them,
Why should I be the only one bothered by it eh.

It depends.

The movie Pearl Harbor or Tora Tora Tora... I will take the later.

"Force 10 From Navarone" was on again last night. That has got to be the absolutely worst WWII movie ever made. It even has Bob Shaw in it, but that still couldn't save it. I watched a little bit of it just to remember how much it sucked. God I hate that movie! And I ain't nit-pickin. It sucks!

Force 10 not only has Robert Shaw, but also Harrison Ford! And the delicious and delectable Barbara Bach! And it's still a stinker!

I almost hesitate to mention my standard for judging a 'good' movie, but here goes just for the laughs.

I'm a Type II diabetic, which means I drink a lot of liquids during the day to offest symptoms. If I can sit though an entire movie without once even thinking about going to the bathroom, then that's a 'good' movie! Makes the rush for the exit at the end a bit more lively, too...;)
