Working out PF

Post by Plodder »

When you work out the PF for a unit, do you take the thickest front armour rating or an average of hull and turret armour? I'm trying to work out the PF for the AMX-30B2 at the moment and, damn, that thing is paper thin.

I could grab a peek quickly into the French data set and I see the AMX30B and B2 with a PF of 13. I'll have to do some deeper code digging to get the exact formula based on locations and such.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

Cool thanks.[:)]Another question regarding the AMX-30B2, was the main gun stabilised or not? Some sources say it was stabilised in 1971(Wikipedia) others say it wasn't at all. Internet sources are all over the place in regards to tank specs, I keep having to fall back on my copy of Jane's Tank Recognition Guide (1996) by Christopher Foss
