That is really cool. I foresee a lot of new .inst files getting created because of this. Thanks!

Brilliant, wish I had read this about 4 weeks ago when i started mapping NATO / Warsaw pact Airfields and locations, would have saved me a pile of work in copying map tiles I didnt really need.

Can I suggest a couple things would be a nice to have feature?

And I dont have a tenth of your abilites so I have no idea if this is possible.

Could a search function be included in the unit list, like in CMANO, so I start to type RUN for runway and it will only show the Runways/ Runway Taxiways...... ect ect

Also an option to limit the drop down to either , Aircraft/Surface Ships/Submarine/ Facilty

If not its no worries, it a great tool though cuts down creating an airfield by a good 10 mins

[:(]

Seem to have spoke too soon, I have just tried to load up the inst file and when I do CMANO says completed , but no Icons appear on the map anywhere.

I am clearly missing a step, but cant figure out where. I added a SAM site as a test both in the browser and the I did it within the game and compared the two and they are significantly different, but I cant figure out why.

I have included both the inst files the game compiled one that works fine and the other browser generated one, anyone got any ideas?

Does the drop down menu get updated for new databases?

EDIT: Ouch just saw this was an old post... no worries.

I might be a little late just discovering this, but I can't seem to get the imports to show up in the game. CMANO says that it is completed loading the import but the icons don't appear in the game. CMANO also detects the facilities in the side box below the import description. The formatting quite is different than the game-generated ones so might this be the culprit?

Works fine here.

Just a couple of thing about that dialog.

You can only do one load at a time. You've got to close and reopen to follow up with another.

If you have a multilevel folder hierarchy make sure to select the files themselves.

Sadly, this has not seemed to have worked.

If you add any unit outside of the import function can you see it?

Can you give me a click through of what you're trying to add.

Thanks!

If I add any unit outside of the import function, I can see it.

A walkthrough of what I am doing is by first loading the blh42 import website, and then switching to satellite view in the upper left hand corner. Next, I browse through the facilities drop down menu and add the facilities in their respective locations (I tried doing Fort Ord, Hector ANGB, and RAF Upper Heyford; none of these worked). Following that, I enter the name of the facilities in the name box and select them as grouped. Finally, I export them and try to load them in CMANO, but so far I've had no luck, only to see the facility names in the box below the descriptions.

Seems like you've got adding them to a scenario and actually creating them jumbled together.

This vid should help. If it doesn't let me know.

I'm obviously missing something here so can you clarify things by providing a walkthrough? I'm confused on how I get the import into Command or if I create the import in Command.
