Russian A/C Production

I have a pbem game going in very late 43, and the RUS aircraft bomber production seems very off. I am currently only producing 6 PEs (two factories at 3 each) per turn, yet 30 IL4s a turn. I have not lost any a/c factories, so I am just wondering if this is a known issue, or if its going to ramp up later? Anyone know?

Depends which Pe you're talking about. The recon version, the 2-R only does 6 a week.

2x3 sounds indeed like Pe-2R.
The Pe-2 level bomber should have started with factories in the Moscow area, maybe another one further in the East.
