Scroll Lag in Windows 10 and Beta 7

Post by Mandai »

Hi all

I installed WITPAE under windows 10 and experienced a scroll lag. I have tried
fixes suggested by other threads such as installing DirectX9 and different types
of switches (-w, -DeepColor etc) but the stubborn scroll lag remains.

So I tried to run it under Beta 7 (version 1126), and the scroll lag disappears.

However, when I select a base (eg. Tokyo - see attached pix), the last row for industries is hidden - its there
when I try to expand the window, but it reverts back and hides and instead down downwards.

I guess the solution to scroll lag rest inside Beta 7 but anyone can suggest how to display
the industry row in Beta7?

try using -dd_sw for the lag problems.

The industries row is hidden because the resolution of the game window does not match the parameters of your computer's resolution. Try using these:

-f -px1920 -py1080

-f makes it full screen and -px and -py should be changed to your desired resolution.

Remember the "-" in the command line is NOT the keypad minus key!
