Victory Points

As a total noob this may be a stupid question, but...

Is there any way to play 41-45 against the AI (or any campaign for that matter) where Victory Points don't count until the final turn in summer '45?

I was looking forward to attacking those cities in the Urals...[8D]

Maybe. Check out 3.5. SCENARIO VICTORY CONDITIONS in the Editor Manual.
