Knockem Down

Post by slaphappypappy »

Has anyone tried this scenario from the American side and had any success?
It seams there is not near enough time to reach the lone victory point.
PLEASE NO SPOILERS.

Thanks for your kind words slaphappypappy.

Very difficult scenario where each player must open paths towards the goal and leave the pockets of resistance behind him so as not to waste time and preserve his forces for the final assault.

Scenario reserved for the elite of TOTH players.[:D]

[Party Line Mode ON] Wonderful. The best possible scenario. I enjoyed it immensely.

Disclaimer: I am NOT criticising the AI behaviour or the OBA, so I think I fall within the previously stated Party guidelines.

I played it three times and I came to the conclusion that it is unnecessarily big. None of the US forces entering before turn 8 has the slightest chance to take the single VP hex, so what is the reason for their presence? By the way, this leaves a bunch of Green US squads facing SS in stone building: a sure recipe for disaster.

Take care of you, o Supreme Ayatollah and Party Leader and... in case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night! [:D]

I got that reality also, although on my second try I'm going to see if I cant get a couple of tanks down there.

And I will continue to bow down to the Ayatollah and Party Leader as long as he keeps cranking out scenarios.
