[RESOLVED] Game runs a bit choppy/laggy

Post by Kevinorf »

I run it on an HP Spectre gaming laptop - Windows 10, high resolution screen. New laptop so runs most games well.

I tried disabling most of the in the game's options menu that slow down performance but to no avail.

Oddly I don't remember it running badly but yesterday purchased three game DLC (Silent Service, Shifting Sands, and Northern Inferno). Would that change anything?

Hi,

What specifically takes noticeably longer now?

I have something similar. I am running on one of those laptops that are for navigating internet (acer Switch 10E) and Cmano was ok with one of the "rendering" methods, but here 1 second of game is more or less 4 seconds of real time. Navigating the map is "smooth" as it should be in this computer.

I can't duplicate the issue.
I have ALL DLC loaded, 32 GB RAM, GTX 1070 GPU, Win 10 1903. Running Windows (not Command) from SSD, running Command from D:(2 TB HD), 6-core i7-8700@3.2 GHz.
No real choppiness, and running TacView a lot when I want a detailed look. CMO runs more smoothly than CMANO does on this computer.

Real time is real time for me.

If possible, can you provide a save file from a situation where things slow down? There is always the chance that there is a context-dependent bottleneck that we have missed. Thanks!

Here's a save that is exhibiting similar issues.
