Please make a pdf of this like prior years! It's painfully slow to search/browse the site. At least produce a page that just shows titles without the images. It's hard to find the game names in the current method.

The easiest way to view the sale is to go here:
https://www.matrixgames.com/inventory/special

You can sort the list by release date, alphabetical, filter by different settings so you have some powerful tools to browse.

We could do the pdf but we thought the new system gave you everything you needed. Give it a try and let us know what you think needs improving on it?

I tried that page and gave up after 2nd of 12 pages. Too hard to see game names with prices. Way faster (and avoids slow servers) to just give us PDF!

You can never please all of the people all of the time. [:D]

BTW, thank you for putting prices in the tags. [8D]

For me, I have two issues. Speed and easy to gather informations.
Pages loads slowly (and it's not my connection), which makes it painful for simply taking a look at the list. With a downloadable pdf, you have all basics infos you need in one simple file (of around 3 pages) you can check easily (and in one glance).
For gathering informations, the pdf was better to be able to see every info we need in one simple line. The title of the game, the price, the discount. It's a lot faster and easier to check the list.

My suggestion, if you want to stick with only the website : maybe you should enable us switch the display at our convenience, between big thumbs like now, to a "line" (and more efficient) version of browsing (with very or none thumbs) ?

Well if enough people think its worth doing we'll have a look but its not a small amount of work to put all this info in to a pdf!

Finding out how the web page would better supply the info you need might be the better option. The pages load very quickly for me, I can sort by date, by alphabetical. I can filter by genre, setting, developer, if its a DLC or stand alone etc.

What other tools are you looking for to help you decide?

Yeah sure ^^" Of course, if we aren't a lot, it's not worth the pain [;)]

But improving displaying of the pages can be the solution who could please a lot of people, and additionally helps you in selling. A "list" browsing helps you to find things lot more easily, faster etc... because some people like to take lot of time and click on big thumbs, and some like to see as much things as possible in a glance !
Oh, and it would be nice to be able to customize how many games we see in a page of the catalogue (I'm not sure I'm clear in my phrasing here).
And if possible, that the display take a bit more advantage of our computers screens : only three games in a line is few, maybe add a fourth if it would be possible ?

It would be nice to be able to filter with OS (Win7, Win10...) to find only games officially supported on your OS.

Being able to sort by price, and/or discount rate could be nice too.

Thanks for listening btw :)

Edit: and for slow browsing.. maybe it's because I'm in France? I don't know, but I have a veeery fast bandwith, so it's related to the website I think.
Edit2 : I tested again, and it seems to be a lot faster = normal speed now !
Edit3 : and that are only suggestions :)

I came to the forum to express just this sentiment.

I don't need a pdf (although that would be useful) but something that isn't so graphics heavy! I don't like the My Page either. Especially for the latter, we don't need to see pretty pictures to convince us to buy a particular product. We just want an easy way to access things.

At the very least, can you make it adjustable so that the number of products that shows on one page is selectable? I can't stand clicking through "1" "2" "3" page markers. If I must see pictures at least have them all on one page.

You can count at least one customer not taking advantage of your sale because of the interface --- you are making it too hard to browse.

In Sort Order sort by price is the only thing missing that I can see. Lowest to highest and highest to lowest.

Like every year i buy myself at least couple of games during holiday sales. This year i got Field of Glory Empires and Strategic Command 2 World at War. Remember that you can use your anniversary coupons. They add up to the holiday discount. Cheers![:)]

The holiday sale is about buying games I don't need. In order for that to happen I need to be able to scroll quickly through a list of games and discounts so I can think "wow, that's cheap, I should pick it up". I can't do that by browsing through 12 screen pages and having to hunt for game titles and then find the price. I just checked and I've picked up 20 games in the last 4 holiday sales (which all had pdf's). I have played 3 of those games so it's definately not about buying games I need. Of course I may be an outlier since my Anniversary coupon shows up the day after Christmas each year which makes the "wow that's cheap" much more likely to make me buy a game.

I´d like to buy several games in the current holiday sale, but for unknown reason my paypal-account isn't recognized by Slitherine, the only option seems to be to create a new account on Paypal. I'm using the same access like in Steam, where buying doesn't cause any issues, but I don`t want to buy via Steam for technical reasons. Any help appreciated!

The web page works just fine and loads fast, easy to use and navigate with no fuss!

Thanks for the sale and good job on the website, it’s a nice update years in coming!

Good time to pick up something you want to try. I got Decisive Campaigns Wasaw to Paris and Case Blue for $19.99 to go with Barbarossa which I already own.

Would be about $80 normally.

Create a pdf just like you have in previous years.

Another annoyed potential customer who gave up on trying to browse 12 pages of slow loading store pages.

Picked up World in Flames, Red Star and Desert War.

Pages loaded just fine, took about 5 seconds to load each page and less then a minute to browse through all the items.
