"+" ,and "=" on ground units equipment

Hi,

I have already asked on discord, but didn't get a clear answer. I believe it's an addition with beta patch, but on ground units equipment there are "+" or "=" signs next to the equipment, what do they exactly mean?

"+" - unit can take replacements of a particular device, since the device is in the pool
"=" - unit can upgrade a particular device to another device in its upgrade path i.e 75mm field gun upgraded to 105mm field gun
"+=" -unit can either continue to take old devices from pool or upgrade to new device
