We tried the 42 CG and the fact that half the armies on both sides are on static mode made it very difficult to play (the effect of static mode changed dramatically since the scenario was created). I suggest you use the scenario editor to switch everyone to normal mode, give each side some AP to allow them to set units back to static if they want, and refill everyone's supply.

I can send you a .scn file if you like. It has proven to be a very dramatic campaign for us.

Thanks for the warning, for the moment I'll keep away from the 1942 campaign as I feel that having everyone in normal mode would create too much chaos.
