Neutral Posture

Post by phatkarp »

So I play a "blitzkrieg" card on an HQ. I blitz for a turn or two. How do I go back to a "neutral" posture? Is there a way other than playing a different posture card?

Thanks in advance.

Select OHQ unit, open it's management in menu at right part of screen. Here you can cancel currently active stratagem.

P.S. Most efficient to support one attacking OHQ with attacking posture and some nice toys like tanks with a defensive OHQ that using defensive posture and mostly holding the line + providing encirclement.

So in doing so I presume the card will be gone for good? unless its given to player again later on? if that is possible?
i know some cards have duplicates.

All the posture cards can be in multiples go to the tab top right and click on one that shows your government and such, can't think of name. once in tap the help tab and then on that list find stratagems and it will list by council where you get all of them and how much they cost and what prerequisite is needed to get it.

Yes, card is gone for good. But they aren't unique, you will get them later (generating posture cards is a Staff Council job, Supreme Command Council will generate only a few basic one).

Also FYSA, extra costs for fuel, ammo, food, or less costs for food, result from some postures.

...

Unrelated, but does the training posture work to increase XP while the unit is stationary and inactive?

Do units simply gain experience without some event or trigger?

I wouldn't use Training for units conducting operations.

TBH, I've never had a need for postures thus far. I've been in simple attrition mode, rather than min-maxing.

Training does NOT raise the xp above 25 for troops in the unit I believe it increases the xp to the leader though.

It isn't complete true. Training is raising xp to average maximum xp, they're indeed 25 for fresh recruits, but if you have few experienced sub-units - training will raise newbies a bit more.
