LOS at destination

Shock Force 2 brings you to a hypothetical conflict in Syria between the forces of NATO and the Syrian Army. Play either on WeGo or Real Time in an incredibly detailed and realistic 1:1 tactical simulation.

LOS at destination

Is there a way to know the unit line of site at the end of its move?
Quite frustrating to realise that your scouts will have to move 10m forwards, or the opposite.
I am new to the game, playing the Ambush scenario and taking a beating. This game is fun but hard.

AFAIK, there isn't a specific LOS tool for performing this.

There is the camera though and it does a rather effective job of allowing you to eyeball the lay of the land and different LOS/LOF aspects from the desired destination as well as safer (or at least less risky) approaches. It takes a little practice, but is worth getting used to.

If you click on the end waypoint and use "target", you can see what your unit can target when it gets to its destination. That will give you a good idea of what your unit should be able to see.

One thing you should know about the target command is it shows you a units ability to target the ground at the end point. So, if it mentions reverse slop your unit will be able to see enemy vehicles and soldiers at that point even if your unit cannot target the ground at that location. Ounce you have played a while you will get a better feel for how likely your units will be able to see a location. I highly recommend using the camera to help get a feel for the visibility as well as the target command.
