Patch 1.50 Multiplayer: Changing side configuration

Gary Grigsby’s World at War is back with a whole new set of features. World at War: A World Divided still gives complete control over the production, research and military strategy for your side, but in this new updated version you’ll also be able to bring spies into the mix as well as neutral country diplomacy, variable political events and much more. Perhaps the largest item is the ability to play a special Soviet vs. Allies scenario that occurs after the end of World War II.

Patch 1.50 Multiplayer: Changing side configuration

Post by Burdy323 »

Hey,

I was wondering if it is/would/can be possible to change the side configuration in multiplayer? For example- Playing a three player game where the third player controls just the Western Allies instead of both the USSR and Western Allies? Or just controls China? etc. etc.

I think this should be changed and leave the options to the players as it was with the previous versions. Just let the players configure whatever options they want with the countries.
I don't understand why China has to be played by the AI instead of the Russian or the W. Allied player or just the allied player controlling all three. In multiplayer games no country should be left to be controlled by the AI imo.
