Sorting stratagems by type (ie. all retirement cards placed all together etc.)

Post by rastacam »

It would be great if stratagems are sorted by type (ie. all retirement cards placed all together etc.). When we have many, many different cards it is a mini-game itself to find needed especially when we want to play many at one turn (ie. to retire a leader) :-)

Aside from weird sorting, another issue with stratagems is that the stratagem window has so much dead space, and only ends up showing 4 cards at a time per panel. You could easily fit 8 cards in there with minimal or no resizing of the cards themselves. The "show smaller cards" button is a welcome addition, but it resets every turn. It's also annoying to get mixed PP cards with Artifact cards and Fate cards. It's often that I find myself having to always go to the 2nd or even 3rd screen of a stratagem category, because the first page is will keep the rarely-played fate cards. In the case of the Nation tab, if you have 3 cults, you always end up getting 3 "Discuss cult policy" in the first page.

That depends on your resolution and DPI, for me (1920x1200) it shows 8 cards per panel.
(Maybe Vic is using 1920x1200 too, which is a resolution that used to be common on professional screens ?)
