Map question

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Map question

War in the West is a great game, but I found the map very bland compared to WITE due to the modular way it had been built, Now that WITE2 has appeared I'm relieved that the map looks very good.

Is there any possibility that the WITW map might get a makeover to get it to WITE2's standard?

EDIT: looking at the WITE2 map I guess this question is redundant, if the western theatre of the map eventually gets used.
