Been playing on 1.007 since it was posted, priority repair is still not working.

Check Borodino.

I used your turn 24 save and advanced it to turn 25 and there was a CB in Borodino. Over the 5 turns the damage went from 65 to 8 percent. Normal repair is 9% per turn so there was more repair than just the 45%. It's not clear to me from the manual, but from what I remember there is diminishing returns for what construction units can repair as the damage gets low. I'd need to see a save before a turn where no CB ended up in the town so I can repeat the problem. If you've got a pre-save for that please attach it. Thanks.

BTW, you look well on your way to an early victory in 1942. You've put the hurt on the Soviets with 3.7 million killed and captured Soviets in 41 and low Axis losses. The strength ratio looks very good for you and with Leningrad taken you are in great shape. Good luck.

Apologies, I checked all the Axis turns and a construction unit did show up on 25, I must have kicked it out later.

While on the subject, is it WAD that cities (f.e. Cologne, Dortmund, Kleves), covered by the Theater Boxes can't be assigned any construction units? On map cities seems to all work normally, the covered cities show an empty list.

It's only morale 100 and I save scummed a few of the crucial first turns. The AI does well in the center and South to avoid pockets but should learn the value of difficult terrain in the north and the value of major rivers. It's too easy to dislocate it by doing a deep penetration in light/heavy woods or swamps. I was only able to take Leningrad because of that, against a Human I think it would be very hard or nearly impossible to do. Maybe something like Rifle Divisions in Heavy woods and at least fort 2 don't get taken back. Such hold outs are tough and time consuming to deal with and bleed out the offensive power of the infantry which buys the Soviets those extra turns it needs.
