Field of Glory Error Message

When starting Field of Glory this error message appears

Error Version error corrupted server client version received.

The game was installed years ago on this machine and never had any error before. No recent modifications to game or machine outside of Windows 10 updates.

Anyone else ever see this?

for a wild guess, just update the game to the latest version and try again, seems your on a older client version
