What's a MT BRON?

So okay.

I'm playing the Guadalcanal Campaign to break into the game and find all these naval units called MT BRON. I can't figure out what the heck they are or what they are supposed to do. I've check the rule book and didn't see them.

Anyone know what they are and what you're supposed to do with them?

Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron, coastal patrol as far as I gather

Click on the spyglass for any unit. You will see the type of unit. In this case a Patrol Grp.
