Honestly I miss the loops. I don't care if they speed you up, although that was nice, but without them it is slow and I am always trying to find units somewhere between Australia and US or Australia and India, or I forget to move them. why can't we have them but just not warp speed?

They were removed due to the exploits. Japanese fleets waiting your ships to exit warp to engage with photon torpedoes.
I prefer without them honestly.

The game needed to be slowed down. That is why they were removed.

I might add one that is a 4 turn delay going from West Coast to India.

I believe it's the Strategic Command series that has multiple exits for their loops. This, I assume, takes care of the problem of waiting in ambush.

How do you calculate the lost of naval effectiveness with a loop? Like this, Allies can throw fresh fleets against Axis.
This is not fair.
