Japanese aircraft production

will japanese planes being produced using the build rate instead of an actual factory cost industry points? Will they need/consume engines?

I'm toying with an 'everything and the kitchen sink' scenario for my personal use. Any advice on a way to increase japanese aircraft production so that it includes a lot of the unimportant planes that were produced without crashing their in-game industry? Am I on the right track with using build rate instead of factories?

It has been a very long time since I did anything with the WitP files, but I think build rater is independent. You can test it to see in a scenario without the HI, frame and engine production. There may well be a much better answer, but something is a start.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it is independent, but I wanted to be certain. A couple of years ago I made a neat little mod, played it to about mid 43 and then the jap industry completely crapped its pants. Seriously, I was trucking along, immersion has so intense I was having my kids salute me when I came in and out of my computer room, then the next thing I know the economy tanked and Japan was producing like a dozen ginsu knives and one Honda 3-wheeler per month. It was terrible.
