Intrinsic Naval Support?

Is it possible for a base to have intrinsic Naval Support? I have 48 Naval Support in Fusan and no unit there has any Naval Support.

There has to be some sort of intrinsic Naval Support, maybe based on port size? I'm seeing the same thing at other bases.

I think I remember now. Naval support from HQs affect all bases in its radius, I believe. Can someone confirm that? I am old, after all...

Yes Mike. The Naval support from an HQ is divided by the distance + 1 and added to bases in range.
The maximum range is the command rating of the HQ. Also since some patch it does not appear at bases with a port SPS of 0.
