Old Database - not found

Post by vettim89 »

I am sorry if this question has been asked and answered but I could not find anything with the search feature

I have an old CMANO scenario I wanted to update to CMO standards but when I try to open it, it say "database not found". Is there a workaround for this?

Well I don't know. Is there a way to tell without opening the scenario? Like I said it was constructed in CMNAO

Hi Vettim89,

What is the name of the scenario and the approximate time it was created? I might be able to help determine what DB is used.

The Scenario is called "Bomb Alley" and was originally posted for testing in September of 2016

Found it.

The scenario was created using DB3K_445. It should still be in the DB folder from CMANO. I created a .zip copy but it is 9.9Mb in size so I cannot email it to you here. If you have access to Dropbox I can upload it there for you - I'll just need your email address to give you access.

Let me know.

Doh!

Sometimes I'm a little slow on the uptake.

I loaded the scenario and updated it to DB3K-492 so you should be able to use it.

So if you still have CMANO, you could update in stages, first in CMANO to the latest available there, then in CMO to the latest.

My original CMANO installation is on a dead computer which is why I am having the issues I encountered. Thanks for the updated file
