Golf anyone? How bad/good to start?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Golf anyone? How bad/good to start?

Post by CeeWee »

18 years ago when i started playing golf, a good friend of mine adviced me to start on the par 3 course. I remember asking him, "so when I can play the par 3 course in 27, I am ready for the main course?".

This was a sensible question, but if he had said "yes" I would still be playing the par 3 course.

Now - WitW - I have played the "Introductionary Scenario - Operation Husky". I have won a couple of minor and normal victories. But no majors victories.

Am I ready to move on? Is Major victory at all possible? How do you see the smaller campaignns and the minor/major victories?
