Matrix Buy and Steam Key

ACW will be released on June 30 via Matrix and Steam on July 14. For quite awhile, I have preferred to buy my Matrix Games via Steam for a variety of reasons (including the ease of updates, etc) but don't want to wait for this one.
Will or can a Steam Key be available for folks who buy via Matrix on June 30. Also, if so, how does that work? The last time I bought directly from Matrix was the original Distant Worlds circa 2011.

Assuming steam keys will be provided, it does work relatively easily.

Usually, you would go to your "My Page" on the Matrix home page. This is where your Matrix game purchases will be found. If there is a steam key available, you click to get it. Then off to steam you go. Under the "Games" menu bar on the Steam app you will find "Activate a Product on Steam". Put the steam key there and it will be in your steam library.

I have done this without problems too but be aware you are likely to only be able to register the game on Steam once it is actually available to buy on Steam and not on the same day as its Matrix release on the 30th.

Can anyone confirm if a steam key will be available to those who purchase through Matrix today?I can't find anything actually saying whether a steam key will be provided.

I understand the steam key may not be available until after July 14. But like OP, I'd prefer it on Steam for the auto updates, so will hold of purchasing if I can't be sure a steam key will be eventually provided.

To confirm, Steam keys will be made available as soon as it launches on Steam via the usual method through your My Page under the listed game.
