B-17 mid-air collision Dallas

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Being a pilot myself, I do not see how this could have happened unless there was something physically wrong with the P63's pilot or controls. The relative speeds are too low for an experienced pilot to misjudge the clearance window like that. It almost looks deliberate. :(

I saw her back in May. I'm not sure if the crew composition was the same but the crew I met then was so nice and answered all my questions about her and B-17s in general. What a terrible loss. Image
