"Role Support is not allowed for a CA-division"

And yet the battle generator program puts some CAs into that role. I think when the battle opens, they are redesignated as independent. If you don't get the commander success roll, you're just stuck with this (and guys on independent are notoriously reluctant to go into another role, even if you give them different orders during the scenario, another error I've called to your attention before). If I was playing admiral mode, I'd just be stuck with these guys wandering off somewhere and shelling Sweden, probably.

And why wouldn't support be an appropriate role for CAs?

Couldn't get a save for this one because we're in the middle of the battle gen procedure.

And in general, when you try to assign a unit a role, support is an option for CA's, but you get this error message when you try to save. I'm thinking the error message is probably the bug.
