Clarity question re: 23.7.1 Reserve Unit Commitment

There's an errata... specifically Errata 01.02.41
On map units in reserve mode will not commit in support of a hasty attack.

Does this mean units in reserve mode on defense will also not commit to the defense or is it just those "reserve" units on the "attack" side of the Hasty attack that won't commit?

I think it is true for both sides (I ran a quick test that seems to confirm this).
