Windows 11 screen resolution

So, I'm having the screen resolution issue with Win11 that lots of people have had with Win10. Running in compatibility mode (Win7 and Vista (which my computer rec'd) doesn't work.

Before I try doing what seems to have worked as the workaround(s) for Win10, can anyone confirm whether I can get this going on Win11 at all???

I'm on Win11 (23H2) and run the game fine with this:

"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition DBB-B\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -wd -pxf2048 -pyf1152 -dd_sw -altFont -skipVideo -archive -nofire -deepcolor

on a laptop with 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13980HX 2.20 GHz and 32Gb RAM
