Refit needed for some Techs?

Rule the Waves III is a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare from 1890 to 1970. and will place you in the role of 'Grand Admiral' of a navy from the time when steam and iron dominated warship design up to the missile age.

Refit needed for some Techs?

Hallo,

do some Techs need a refit or do they apply instantly . Like better rangefinder (with % boni) or better ap shells?
Or even "Double bottom" with this effect "Gradual damage control improvement"

And is there a way to see the Armor quality in%?

Some do, some don't and there's no hard and fast rule. Usually 'gradual' improvements are applied without a refit, even where it doesn't make sense.

Gun, Engine and major Fire Control upgrades always require a refit.

Armour quality should be fixed from the time you design the ship, but there's no real way to tell what changes have occurred. Having said that, there's very little variation in protection offered through the game, unlike in RL, so treat the armour as 'Krupp Equivalent' and it won't be too far off.
