AI behaviours

Does the AI opfor do any basic tactics, such as moving with overwatch? I notice it's good at calling in arty, but when it moves does it just rush forward, or are some elements covering? I haven't seen any of that so far, but difficult to interpret past the FOW. Thanks

Yes, there are main AI groups and independent AI groups within the battle plan, although they might not always perform to their full potential (such us the nature of the dynamic AI). Additionally, there are three different AI types (armored, mechanized, and infantry). The infantry AI is more systematic in its advance, with tanks playing more of a supporting role rather than a leading one. However, you will need to adjust the force ratio appropriately when selecting this option.
