Japan AAR October 1962

Fairly average game in most respects, except for what is likely to be the last important battle of the campaign.

Playing Japan from 1890, prestige currently 210 so nothing special.

But I achieved every surface commander's dream (only been able to do this once before in...too many!...games): Ran down a British CV task force in appalling weather and trapped them off the west side of the Isthmus of Kra. In a night action lasting six hours, eliminated most of the RN.

Charged in everything, plenty of ships torpedoed as expected, but I wasn't about to let some losses get in the way.

This is the most glorious day of the IJN, probably ever.
