Replay suggestion for developer

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Replay suggestion for developer

Post by Taxman66 »

Would it be possible to add a new setting option that determines the zoom level for replays?

I would very much like to be able to set that to the zoomed out (mid) level so I can see where planes are launching attacks and/or flying interceptions from.

Taxman66,

I assume you want something that you can permanently set before the replay starts and which will remain on for the whole replay -- rather than using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out as desired at various points during the replay?

For myself, I'd be OK with this as an OPTION, but not as something that replaces the current mouse wheel adjustment method. I prefer being able to use the mouse wheel to zoom in and/or out at various points of the replay as desired (e.g., mid-level for late war, long-range air missions and intercepts and zoomed in tight for most land battles).

Of course, the real solution is permanent mid-level zoom and a 55" -- or bigger -- gaming monitor. I will, however, first have to check under the cushions of my couch for $1,500 before I go that route!!!
