Where to start

Post by tarfman »

Hey,

New to the game and I'm wondering which campaign or scenario would be good to start with. Ran through the tutorials but am at a loss at where to go next. Any thoughts?

What I did when I was new to the game was generate small size missions, rather than play the stock scenarios. Start with what ever your comfortable with, defend, meeting or attack. Maybe small map, limited force points. Play around with setting up your own missions, I'm guessing that's where you'll spend most of your time once your more familiar with the game anyway. Generating your own missions or campaigns is where I spend most of my time. don't worry so much about winning the engagements but becoming comfortable with the elements of the game, i.e. using your troops, infantry/armor, setting up and calling in arty and air. Most of all have fun.

I don't buy all the wargames I want, I just buy more than I need.
