Ground support bug

Post by Mayhemizer_slith »

Version 5.0.0.10

Bug: some US CVPs cannot land on CVs after ground support. 3 out of 5 planes flying to China gets destroyed if you land 2 size CVP first.

If you like to use the same rolls we had, please see them from our AAR

https://forums.matrixgames.com/viewtopi ... start=6340

I will post another save file just before ground support if that helps to investigate the bug.

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

Happened to me too long time ago. Cant remember if it was a GS or a Port Strike but I had to destroy them.

I have a game file editing solution that I've used when such has happened to me. It's quite involved, advance; but straightforward if you follow the steps.

If interested, I can post it.

Well, it is always good to have it, if it doesnt take you too much effort... there are very few times that you do GStr with CVs except maybe in Asia, but in those cases that would be a solution.

I dont know if I will be able to understand and implement it, maybe like before recipe-style.

I was talking about effort because it seems to me that it takes you a lot of time to explain the "recipes" to a more simple language so that more people can understand them.

Considering, it may be better to wait till some of us need it and save the effort by now.

Thanks

Thank you Ronnie! We moved on so that few planes did not fly. I will keep this in mind for the future.
