[Fixed] Operation Lightning Strike, 2014 standalone: nuke happens very early

Post by Tool3333 »

See save attached. The scenario is EXACTLY the same default parameters as the latest updated (V 1.08)

The issue: the Pakistan separatists will lunch a nuke very early in the scenario, even if I do nothing.

How it happens: you will see a series of yellow strikes occur on the map, then eventually either a town in India or Bagram airport gets nuked with the scenario ending event happening saying failure. You will find that this event will happen no matter what, even if you just fast forward the speed and make no action to your units.

In the meantime, you can use this patched version.

Strange. I played this back when I started with the game (Dec 24- January 25) and it run very smoothly. Actually I remember I was proud that I managed to hit the objective without getting involved in any skirmish before or after

Can it be that the updates that followed somehow affected doctrine or plans of the Red team? Or maybe you did poke them somehow and they responded as originally intended?

This is related to the issue already reported of units in land strikes with start times firing once odaa loop is completed. It's fixed for the next update, sorry for the inconvenience.

That one and DB v513, that Pygmalion already announced in the github site.

More US Navy carrier versions! And the Houthis.

Would they not create a perfect beta patch? :)

Thank you!! I thought I was just a noob who was not doing something simple. Seems to be an issue found in other reporting.
