Harpoons fire at Mobile Targets

Harpoons are being fired at Mobile Targets, and there is no WRA doctrine for those targets.

The 84L (Block II) has the JDAM and SLAM guidance package that allows it to strike land and mobile targets. In fact, Boeing's ad blurb uses and example of a mobile unit as a target. I'm assuming parked.

But yoou are correct there is no WRA for mobile target. I assume that's not by design.

Thank you for the info and the link. I wonder if it can track a moving target?

Anyway, if this is WAD, it should be indicated in the database, and there should be WRA

It most likely can't track a moving target. The issue isn't hitting a land/mobile target. Its that its not in the WRA.

This is not WAD, seems related to ignoring the Self-Defense WRA order
