Manual Says

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

We ran out of time and people to redo all the origianl TAO scenarios - so we just concentrated on the main campaign. I understand that some of the keener scenario creators are looking at doing some of the other TAO scenarios to the new standard.

There are currently two scenarios available (not the TAO2 ones yet though) over at Wacht am Rhein under the scenarios link.

Chris Merchant is currently finishing off the touches to the updated Race to the Meuse scenario from TAO2 and it should be available in the coming weeks.

There is also a poll in one of the discussion forum threads (over at wacht am rhein) where we are asking people what TAO2 scenario they would like to see converted next - I would encourage anyone who hasnt voted yet.. to head over and vote.. so we can get an indication on what you guys want..

Many people are starting to fiddle with the editor now, you can also find support and some tutorials for the editor over at wacht am rhien also - and I would expect we will soon see some more user scenarios forthcoming from the community.
Isn't that bizarre?
